OUR MISSION

To enlighten and enrich American Public Television audiences through the production and broadcast of the complete historical panorama of American music, from our country’s origins to present day.  

 To continue our work with existing partners, PBS-TV affiliates and the Society for American Music (SAM); to publish, produce, research and document educational

programming and products that advance the awareness, appreciation and stature of American music.
